Support

Emotional and spiritual support is provided by the pastor and our congregation's Healing Team. The Healing Team is made up of members who are trained in visitation ministry and meet regularly with the pastor to discern and respond to needs of those associated with our congregation.

The team provides support to the congregation through listening, prayer, and presence. Some of the team's responsibilities include:

	Assisting the pastors with anointing services for forgiveness and healing;
	Setting up and serving communion in worship and taking it to members who are ill or homebound;
	Sending cards to those who are celebrating or grieving transitions in their lives, on behalf of the congregation;
	Organizing assistance to provide food, transportation, child care, and/or referrals for professional services.

Members of the team are available to assist in any situation where listening, prayer, discernment, or practical help are needed. Please consult your church directory for a listing of Healing Team members, or contact the pastors for more information.
